CircleBlack Appoints Robert Baxter as Chief Technology Officer

Veteran wealthtech executive to head technology development and operations as the organization continues to scale and deliver best-in-class solutions for client-centric financial advisors.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — CircleBlack is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Baxter as Chief Technology Officer. Baxter will provide technical leadership to the development team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive capabilities and integrations that enable financial advisors to elevate their client-facing activities.

Baxter brings 25 years of experience in financial technology including cloud-native platforms designed for broker integrations, trading workflows, and portfolio allocations to investment managers. Before joining CircleBlack, he served as Director at SS&C Eze, a modeling, rebalancing, trading, and compliance platform for investment managers. Prior to that, Baxter co-founded RJB Capital, a research & trading platform for institutional investors, and was previously a Vice President at State Street, where he developed trading & rebalancing technology for portfolio managers.

Baxter holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Skidmore College, an M.S. in Computer Science in Machine Learning from the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A from F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College.
